We have a specialist practice in labour and immigration law and provide legal services to private and public national companies, multinational companies, trade unions, as well as to individuals.
Our lawyers have broad experience in advising clients on all aspects of the labour law, including drafting employment agreements, compliance with the existing legislative framework in what concerns authorizations from the relevant authorities and obligations to be fulfilled, conducting disciplinary procedures, negotiating dismissals and drafting the relevant documents, contacting the regulatory authorities, conducting court actions with regards to employment relationships and also providing legal advice in several operations involving staff transfer and collective dismissals.
In the immigration area our team has many years of experience with Immigration Laws and dealing with foreign citizens and all issues related to entry procedures such as permanent residency, citizenship law, naturalization, deportation and visas.
We provide legal services on all matters related to immigration such as advising on the type of visa that best suits the clients´ interests, preparing / gathering the documentation required by the relevant authorities for obtaining the visas, including contacting and dealing with Embassies and Consulates, submitting visa applications, obtaining favourable opinion from the ministry or entity which oversees the sector of activity at issue, and follow up with the relevant authorities to ensure that the application is processed as quickly as possible.
