In addition to the rules of ethics and deontology, governing the practice of law in several jurisdictions where it operates, the AVM Advogados congregates in essence a set of principles and values that assumes as an integral part of its organizational culture.

Adaptability is a requirement to embrace new experiences and challenges. We believe in solidarity and teamwork in our work and culture. Given much of our work is cross border our lawyers need to be able to adapt to changing markets and projects and work well in international teams.
Fitting together the mosaic of several countries; cultures and profiles is both one of AVM’s greatest challenges and assets. Our firm’s origins are in Africa and other emerging markets which makes us uniquely diverse and which brings together professionals from many different places, backgrounds and cultures.
We are firmly committed to ethics and observing local bar association and professional conduct rules in the various jurisdictions where we are present. All our lawyers are required, under the orientations of our internal Professional Standards and Ethics Committee, to detect and correct any conduct falling short of those standards expected under our professional conduct rules.
